CTC Group Philippines Supports Nutrition Month Celebration Through Meaningful Community Partnership

As part of its continuing commitment to creating positive and sustainable impact in the communities it serves, CTC Group Philippines proudly supported the Nutrition Month Celebration and Cooking Fest organized by the Barangay New Zaniga, under the leadership of Punong Barangay Liza Cruz, in partnership with the Barangay Nutrition Committee headed by Metro Manila Association of Barangay Nutrition Action Officers (BNAO) President Gerlyn Lagleva.
Kensing Solutions presented antioxidant solutions for food and beverage through Orn Sirikantaramas, addressing current challenges and opportunities.

The event brought together residents of all ages, including mothers and youth, for an afternoon filled with learning, creativity, and community spirit. More than a cooking competition, the Cooking Fest became a celebration of healthy living, showcasing how nutritious ingredients can be transformed into delicious, affordable, and family-friendly meals.

Daepyung Co., Ltd. shared insights on stevia and glucosylated steviol glycosides, with discussions led by Mr. Tyler Yoon and Mr. Park Myoung-Jin.


Nine participating groups prepared an impressive variety of nutritious dishes, including chicken pochero, alugbati prepared in four different ways, pinakbet, squash balls, pork pochero, chicken pastel with vegetables, pampano in red sauce with broccoli and tomatoes, stuffed eggplant, pancit-pancitan salad, egg relleno with vegetables, and arroz cubana with egg and banana. Each dish highlighted the importance of incorporating locally available vegetables and balanced nutrition into everyday family meals.
Leveking, represented by Devin Dong, introduced natural preservatives through fermentation, focusing on clean-label innovations.

The creativity extended beyond the main courses with healthy desserts and refreshing beverages such as talong jam served on crackers, fruit salad, alugbati juice, cucumber juice, and a variety of vegetable-infused drinks. At the conclusion of the competition, the meals were joyfully shared among participants, guests, and residents, making the celebration not only educational but also a true feast of fellowship and generosity.
The event was further honored by the presence of City Nutrition Action Officer (CNAO) Dr. Emily Detaro, whose support reinforced the city's commitment to promoting proper nutrition and healthier communities.
